The easy-to-read gauge automatically registers a complete range of processing pressures, which is especially helpful if you live in a high-altitude area. You can start canning worry-free with the special air vent/cover lock. This allows pressure to build only when the cover is closed properly and prevents the cover from being opened until pressure is safely reduced. It also gives a visual indication of pressure inside the canner, so you always know what's going on. Not only is this pressure canner versatile, it's durable too.
